Picture this: At 14, a young maverick, defying the well-meaning but cautious advice of his mother and grandmother, dives headfirst into freelancing as a gaming magazine reviewer. This early foray into the world of pixels and deadlines set the stage for a career redefining storytelling in advertising.

The Brazilian Forge

The dynamic world of Brazilian advertising at Y&R and Talent. This wasn’t just a job; it was the crucible where raw talent met the fire of real-world challenges. After cutting his teeth there, Fabio transitioned to the iconic Almap BBDO, Brazil’s creative nerve center at the time. Here, he didn’t just follow the trend—he set it. By establishing the agency’s interactive department, he elevated the creative bar, bagging numerous accolades, including a Grand Prix at the London International Awards and multiple gold Lions at Cannes.

The Canadian Cold and the California Sun

After nearly a decade of brilliance in Brazil, Fabio took his talents to the Great White North, joining Blast Radius in Canada. Leading creative efforts for heavyweights like Nike, MINI, and BMW Canada, he survived and thrived through two brutal winters. Yet, the cold couldn't contain his creative fire for long.

San Francisco called next, with its promise of innovation and sunny skies. At TBWA\Chiat\Day, he continued his creative conquest, working with brands like Ubisoft, Ray Ban, The Walt Disney Company, and Nvidia. His work there was nothing short of transformative, setting new standards in the industry.

A Parisian Interlude

In 2010, the City of Light became home. As the global creative lead for Louis Vuitton, he didn’t just join a brand; he elevated it. His team’s experiential storytelling around the 2010 World Cup, featuring legends like Pele, Zidane, and Maradona, wasn’t just a campaign—it was a cultural moment. Paris wasn't just about work; it was a feast for the senses, a place where he soaked in the finest steak tartare and the richest cultural experiences.

Return to the USA and Beyond

Back in the USA, the next chapter unfolded at The Martin Agency, where he spearheaded a digital renaissance. His work consistently broke new ground from GEICO to the JFK Library Museum. Then, at TBWA\Chiat\Day Los Angeles, he orchestrated Adidas’s World Cup campaign, a symphony of creativity that hit all the right notes in brand and sales success. His tenure there also saw him working on landmark projects for Netflix, Disney, Miller Lite, Nissan, and The Grammy’s, with his collective body of work earning top honors at D&AD, Cannes Lions, The One Show, and the Clios.

Leading Toyota’s Global Creative Charge

Since 2016, he’s been the global creative force behind Toyota, steering the brand through its ambitious transformation from a car company to a mobility company. His work ensures that Toyota’s commitment to the Olympic and Paralympic movements is expressed with the highest level of craftsmanship and brand purpose, resonating across all time zones.

Legacy and Accolades

When it comes to awards, Fabio has a trophy case that would make any creative professional envious—Grand Prix, Gold, Silver, and Bronze across Cannes, The One Show, D&AD, Clio Awards, and more. Yet, the true accolades are the enduring relationships with teams worldwide, the clients who became friends, and the friends who turned into lifelong partners in creativity. Above all, his most cherished achievements are his wonderful wife and two amazing kids.
